As a stroke survivor these are some of the exercises I did to gain some movement on my left leg/ foot , aka my weak side. It took lots of repetitions before I could lift my ankle and move my left leg 🦵. Standing and putting my weight on my weak foot is even trickier because that's not how we normally stand up. My road to recovery is long . physical recovery is one thing and then there's mental recovery although it is as vital as physical recovery, yet it is often overlooked . #strokesurvivor #s
